Istanbul Pass is a small editorial team of travel writers based between Istanbul, London and Berlin. We've been visiting the city for a combined 30+ years — long enough to have opinions, short enough to still be surprised.

We built this site because we couldn't find a resource that treated Istanbul the way we treat cities we love: with real recommendations, honest comparisons, and the small tips that guidebooks always skip.

We make money by recommending the Istanbul Pass. It's the same pass we've bought for friends and family before every trip they've taken to the city. When you buy through our links, we earn a small commission — it never changes what you pay, and it's the only revenue we take. No PR trips, no sponsored placements, no paid reviews.

If we recommend an attraction, a restaurant, or a route, we've done it ourselves in the last twelve months. If a recommendation stops making sense, we take it down. That's the whole editorial policy.
